today was a super special day for jared. usually the first tuesday of every month i go and read to jared's class. since james was on vacation (and i was on strike), he went up and read to the kids. i don't know if you can see in the second picture, but jared has his arm around his sister's neck! too sweet! it was definitely a fun treat for them since they don't see many dads up at the school. james read several silly easter stories and pirates don't change diapers. hopefully the kids won't be too disappointed when i'm back in may to read!
