it's always hard to say goodbye to grammy and grandpa dallas. the kids just have so much fun up there and it really is like staying at a resort. my in-laws are so good about making it a vacation for us. my mother-in-law even changed some gross diapers! now THAT is a huge blessing to this mama!!! see you two (and salsa) in a few weeks! and i promise...monkey is staying home!!!

but the hardest thing was driving to seeing jen, ryan, and their three boys. my sweet friends were there for me during one of the hardest times in my life. i was single, unmarried, pregnant, and had no clue where life was taking me! i remember poor ryan sitting with me and jen during our parenting classes. he not only supported his wife and her hormones, but he (and jen) supported me and my whacked out hormones. and i so appreciate you jen for reminding me of the first road trip jared and i took to see ya'll, where during one desperately needed nap...jared "told you" not to wake me up!
so i'm holding it all together right now. trying not to shed too many tears. i don't want to make this any harder on them. even though selfishly i want to stomp my feet and tell them to stay. but really, i am so proud of them for taking this adventure, even though i will miss them so much. i know they will do great things in hungary. i believe in what you two are doing. and i thank God that he put you two in my life, for i don't know how i would have been able to get through some of my trying times without your love, support and encouragement. i hope that during this time i can be a support to you both. i love you both dearly and i miss you so much already. God bless your sweet family!

and seriously...if you're homesick for something that can be boxed up and shipped...let me know! especially if i can get it at target. you know i love me some target!!!
