just an hour ago...

brandon turned 3 months old!

gosh it has gone by so fast! i don't remember feeling this way with the other two. i'm beginning to panic about not having enough photos. i know some of you are laughing and rolling your eyes at me for thinking that i don't have enough pictures!!!

i just went back and looked at the photos of brandon making his entrance into the world. and the ones at texas children's. wow. he's come a long way. he got off to a slow start, but he's pretty much on target now. my little baby...growing up...whether i like it or not!

because things are so hectic and i haven't been doing as great of a job keeping up with my scrapbooks...these are the things that i don't want to forget about this special time in brandon's little life:

• weighs 14 1/2 lbs., and measures 23 7/8 in.

• wears size 2 diapers

• sleeps from 9 or 10 p.m. until 3 or 3:30 a.m. (praise God!!!) in either his crib or his pack.n.play...just depends on if i sleep down or upstairs.
• uses his burp cloths from katie and steve r. as lovey blankets. (those rank up there in my favorite gift list!!!)
• went on his first road trip to dallas to visit his grandparents!

• is still nursing, but i've started cutting back because it is just too much for me

• loves when you talk in that goofy (& annoying) high-pitched voice. this is usually what gets the biggest smiles out of him

• i get great smile when i change his diapers too! can't leave the boy nekkid for too long though!

• is really starting to coo. and i swear he said "hi" to me one day!

• has lots of funny nicknames, most made up by his siblings. one of my new favorites...captain chunk-uh-lunk!

• is still very much opposed the whole concept of "tummy time"...
• when he's sick of tummy time, he will just lay his head down and go to sleep.

• went to the zoo for the first time (and lost...and found mr. monkey) <---don't ask!

• is so mellow - which makes his mommy so incredibly happy!

• still has blue eyes, although they are more slate blue than lauren's bright blue.

• gets lots of love and affection from his big brother and sister.

• loves to be held up on mommy's shoulder.

• is beginning to drool. and blow raspberries. it's cute....for right now!• has been caught trying to suck on his thumb.

• his uncle johnny made a special trip to meet him all the way from new york.

• is totally chill running errands and spending most of the day in the mini.

• still wears some 0-3 mo. clothes, but have started wearing the 3-6 mo. too.

• loves it when his big sister gets in his face and starts calling him her "bitsy boy"!

• gets at least 3 4-oz. bottles a day to supplement my nursing

• got to meet my dear friend's ryan and jen before they moved overseas with their children.

this kid has totally captured my heart. as if you couldn't already tell........
