meeting jared's 2nd grade teacher

it's the second to last day of school. i am so dreading tomorrow. i hate that the kids are growing up so fast. i have really come to adore this group of kids. i love how excited they get when i come to read to the class or to eat lunch with them. i know that i'll learn to love the next class, it'll just take some getting used to. and i know i'll be missing mrs. h. too!

leaving mrs. h. and her first grade class is definitely going to be hard, but we're also looking forward to getting to know miss s.! she has experience working with children with autism and we have no doubt that she'll be able to carry the torch that was brightly lit by mrs. d in early childhood. the bar has been set high by jared's previous teachers, but i'm willing to bet that she can set it a little higher!
