crystal's mom had wanted to keep her older two girls for a week...so she decided to use her free time to come visit me and the family. we were supposed to be going to florida to surprise a "friend" for her baby shower...but that didn't work out. well, it worked out for us, not for the other girl. ha ha.
by the way...if any of you know someone that is naming their baby wyatt...please let me know! i spent a lot of money on personalized baby gifts for that girl's baby...and i'd hate for them to go to waste. seriously...some cute stuff!
ANYWAY...back to the good stuff!!!
the kids were SOOOO excited to meet caleigha. i'm sure by the end of this visit, they're going to be asking me for a little sister! as if i could just dial that up. i love this picture of jared and lauren. look at their faces!!!
brandon and his girlfriend (yes, this is an arranged relationship) in the car for the first time together. i don't think he's complaining. she is quite the cutie pie!!!
it was dinnertime, so i wanted to take her out to a nice dinner. i usually take visitors to pappasito's, but it was 1/2 price fajitas and it was jam packed. the parking lot. the streets alongside of the restaurant. crazy. so we went to lupe tortilla's. which is pretty good too. jared LOVES their bean dip thingy that they pass out with the salsa.
of course we had to get a group picture of the first meal in texas!

our plans to be mother-in-laws together seems to be going according to plan!!!
here's to many, many more years of friendship! 
this little mama cracks me up. it's fun having another little girl around! and lauren just can't get enough of her!
