we love the annual parade that goes down the main street of our neighborhood. it's one of the events that i look forward to every year. i was so sad about missing the st. patty's day parade due to bad weather, so i was really hyped up about this one! of course the kids were decked out in red, white, and blue. thanks to target for the cute outfits! i especially love lauren's shirt!!!
the kids, the radio flyer wagon, james and i made our way down towards the clubhouse. we were not the only ones excited about the parade. as far as you could see to the right and the left, including up and down the median were people. waving flags. wearing red, white, and blue. it was just a sight to see! i get chills just thinking about it.

jared and brandonand of course, we had to do fireworks. daddy and jared are all about the boom. lauren, not so much. although she did much better this year. she didn't hide in the garage near as long as years prior! unfortunately i didn't get as many pictures as i had wanted to. and most of the ones i captured weren't that great. i'll just blame it on brandon since he was hungry and demanding to be fed!
happy 4th of july!!! i hope i am always this proud to be an american!!!
