heart day

today was one of the best valentine's ever! james and i got to spend part of the day alone, and part of the day with our three sweet babes. james and i went to benihana's for lunch. their surf and turf was to die for today! not to mention the fried rice! i'd love to show a picture of the cute couple, but in the midst of packing the mini up with all of the kid's stuff...i forgot the camera. ugh. we also went to see the movie "he's just not that into you" which was pretty good. i caught james nodding off a few times! kind of funny that he's that tired considering he gets a full night sleep every night! i guess since i'm documenting that...i should add that he rubbed my foot for about half of the movie. i'm a lucky girl!

the kids had a blast going to my mom and harold's house. they played with my little cousin's old thomas the train set and they did lots of coloring. my mom and harold have a cat and a dog. poor babies had to be locked up while the kids were over. i don't know when my kids got so scared of animals, but they just are. i was proud of jared because he was brave and petted darby. he had to be bribed with cookies, but he did it! thanks mom and harold for giving james and i some time alone. we needed it!

our sweet boy's first valentine's day. of course today is a day where we remind people how much we love them, but i hope this little guy has felt loved from the very beginning. brandon and valentino. my in-laws from dallas gave us this dragon (or is he a dinosaur?) two valentine's days ago. i thought it would be funny for brandon to snuggle in with him. james wanted me to put him in his mouth. WHAT???

brandon and his sissy. this picture cracks me up. it looks like he was talking to her, but he was really hungry at this point and kept trying to eat her face. i love the way she looks at him!
and brandon and his big brother. i say it over and over, but jared just really adores him. he's the first thing jared asks about in the morning, and wants hugs and kisses from him before he goes to bed.

although brandon fell asleep......i had to try to get a photo of the three of them!
